Privacy Policy

Swarm Plan is a flag football coaching app. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and what control you have over it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

An account is required

Swarm Plan is used by signing in with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. There is no way to use the app without an account, so everything below applies to everyone who uses it. Earlier versions offered an account-free mode; that has been removed.

Information we collect

When you sign in, we collect and store:

Account information — your email address and a unique account identifier, provided by Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. If you use Apple's private relay, we only ever see the relay address. An optional display name may also be stored.
Your role — whether you use the app as a coach or a player, and which coach's team you belong to.
Content you create — teams, rosters, plays and diagrams, schedules, practice sessions, and related notes and statistics.
Your coach licence — the passcode your account was opened with, or, if you started the free trial, the date it began. This is what tells the app and our servers whether the account is still open.

We do not collect:

Analytics or usage tracking data
Advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across apps or websites
Location, contacts, photos, health data, or payment information

How we use it

Information is used solely to operate the app: to sign you in, to keep your content synced across your devices, and to connect players with the right coach's team. We do not use it for marketing or profiling, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which acts as our data processor. It is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections and stored on Google's servers, which may be located outside your country. See the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation for details.

Information about players and minors

Coaches can add players to a roster, and flag football teams often include children. If you are a coach, you are responsible for having the right to enter that information and for complying with the rules of your league or organization.

Please enter only what you need to run your team — a name and, if you're sending an invite, an email address. Do not enter medical details, identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information about any player.

Swarm Plan is not directed at children under 13 for the purpose of account creation, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This removes your account and your profile.

Team content that has been synced to the cloud may persist after account deletion. To have it permanently erased, email us from your account address and we will delete it within 30 days.

One record is deliberately kept after deletion: if you started the free trial, we keep the fact that an account with your account identifier took one and the date it began, so that a seven-day trial cannot be restarted without end. It holds no name, email address or content of yours. Email us if you would like it removed as well.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
